Update on Finals Day

Thank you to all those ladies who attended our Get Together on Tuesday 26th June 2012. We had 12 ladies playing golf, including Lisa Kiddie who joined us for the first time, and a number of other ladies joined us for lunch.

Well done to Debbie Tennant, Stella and Helen Cornwell who won our team competition taking all the money!!

We were also able to give updates on the the following:

Travel Arrangements to Clandon Regis
Our coach is all booked and for those of you who missed Lady Captains Day The Ladies Section is to contribute 50% of the cost.  We currently have about 10 seats spare on the coach so if you know anyone who would like to join us for the day can they let me know. We will let you know the cost as soon as numbers have been finalised but hopefully it will not be more than £16.

The coach will be at the golf club at 5.45am on Finals Day with a departure time of 6am. Please don't be late as we just do not know what the traffic on the M25 will be like!

We will be staying all day even if we do not make the Final in the afternoon and hope to depart between 6pm and 7pm.

Catering Arrangements at Clandon Regis
Hopefully you have all seen Judith's post about catering for the day (unfortunately Brenda is on holiday and will not be able to join us on Finals Day so Judith is stepping in to help in this area!). We need to pay for breakfast and lunch by the 13th July at the latest so if you have not yet paid please contact Judith asap. Whilst the team is provided with 7 free lunches we are asking everyone to pay and the extra money will be used to pay for drinks. Hope this is Ok.

New Shirts
These have now all been ordered by the Pro Shop and I will let you know as soon as they are received. It was agreed at the Get Together that it would nice to have the shirts as "celebratory ones" so they are being embroidered:

Practice Rounds

All ladies have confirmed that practice rounds have been arranged. Can you all please let me know how you get on.

Celebration BBQ

And finally I would just mention that our BBQ on the 7th July is to celebrate the success of the West Malling Ladies Pearson Team. Unfortunately we are not able to open this up to partners. It should be a great night!
