Captains Day Out!!

Brenda and I decided to have a day out as a reward for all our hard work recently and guess where we went??

Yes we went to Clandon Regis to check out the place!! (what dedication we still have to our job that even on a day out we couldn't stop thinking about the Pearson!!)

Our impressions of the course - well it reminded us of Cherry Lodge! The holes were pretty straight forward with a good helping of bunkers along the way but the fun started when you got to the green. Lots of them were two tiered undulating greens which normally slopped back to front or vice versa. This is where we think the games will be won or lost!!

We have now received confirmation that a practice round is available at a cost of £15. The pro shop seemed to be pretty relaxed about the number of practice rounds available so if you wanted to go twice hopefully the second round will also be at this reduced price. We paid on our County Cards and this cost us £20 so not much difference.

We are very aware how busy people are so rather than give you possible dates for practice rounds we would ask you to arrange your own dates and times with the pro shop (01483 22488 ext 1).  Please do this sooner rather than later as the number of visitors that Clandon Regis allow is limited to a certain number every day/hour. If you then want to go for another practice round you will still have time.

And so to the big question of who should go for a practice round?? Without a doubt it is everyone who played in last weeks finals day and we will also be approaching a couple of other ladies to join them. Once you have arranged your practice round can you please let me know.
