I have just arrived back from Parkwood slightly disappointed that we lost 4 - 3 as we were so close to getting a 5 - 2 win with Rena losing down the 19th and Pat West losing on the 18th. Parkwood are a difficult team to beat at home as Littlestone and Faversham have already found this season and we took them all the way losing on the last hole of the day.
Congratulations to Debbie Tennant, Judith & Helen Venis for their convincing 5 & 4 wins giving as valuable points from the match and commiserations to the other team members who all played well.
Thanks also to our supporters Kelly, Brenda, Caroline, Sue and Helen C - it's been another great day out!!
Well done all of you. As Helen says, Park Wood are a difficult team to beat at home and valuable points have been gained in the table.
ReplyDeleteThey've yet to face us at home when things will be very different I suspect!!
Good luck for next week.
Hard luck but chins up ladies, just a blip on our score-sheet!! Lots more games to play yet, we have a strong team in all of us, just need to get practising.
