What a great day - not only did the sun shine but the team scored a terrific 5 - 2 win against Woodlands Manor despite having to give shots in every match.
I was a little worried when Debbie Tennant and Kelly lost out in very tight matches but I didn't have to worry too long as Helen Venis (6 & 4), Debbie Conder (4 & 3) and Rena (3 & 1) all got back into last season's winning habit and what great performances from Lindsay (4 & 3) and Carol (2 & 1) to win in their first Pearson matches. Our win notched up 19 points for us with only 3 for Woodlands Manor.
Well done ladies you were all terrific today.
Thanks also to our many supporters who turned up to cheer the team on, it was very much appreciated.
