We have drawn Gillingham, West Kent and Knole Park in the 2014/15 Pearson Trophy.
Games may not be played before the 1st November.

Just to keep you informed, the following teams are through to the Semi final/final day at Royal Cinque Ports

Etchinghill will play Hever.
Sidcup will play Nizels

We played our final match in this years Pearson on Thursday 9th April, the outcome was not what we have hoped for, but all the girls played well!

Debbie Conder played a 19 handicapper, but she is definitely on form as she beat her 4 and 3
Sue Gofton played her heart out, 5 down at one point, she stuck to her task but unfortunately lost on the 19th.  Carol Eldridge and Gill Newson gave it their all, but their opponents where just too good on the day.  Gina Wilson won 5 and 4 a great win over a tough opponent.
Lisa Kiddie had to give 5 shots but won 2up and last but not least Diana Scott, she also had to give 5 shots which proved too much and she lost 3 and 1

We are already planning for next years competition, I will put up notices in the changing room for ladies interested in playing next time.  If you know anyone with a high 20's/30plus handicap please encourage them to join us.

WELL DONE to all the ladies who played this year, you are fantastic!!

Today we played Chestfield at home, the team played well and we won 4-3
Donna Chuter lead out the team but unfortunately lost 3+2, I think she had used up all her luck on Sunday, when she won her Bradley Cook match.
Georgina Venus, our Vice Captain played her first Pearson match for WM, winning 6+5, what a great start!
Sue Gofton won 2+1, Gina Wilson proved once again how much she loves matchplay, winning 5+4
Carol Eldridge had a tough match, losing on the 18th.  Lisa Kiddie was still smiling when she won 4+2.  Diana Scott lost 2+1
Well done girls!!

Only one match left to play, next Wednesday 9th April against Sidcup at home.

The twice postponed match at Sidcup was eventually played on Thursday (27th) we knew it was going to be tough and it was!
We lost 6-1

Julie Harris was our lead player and although she played well, lost 2 and 1, followed by Sue Gofton 6 and 5, Gina Wilson and Gill Newson 3 and 1.  Carol Eldridge was 1 down, Diana Scott was 5 down after nine, she rallied bravely and only lost 2 and 1
Lisa Kiddie was our only victor, giving 4 shots she triumphed 4 and 2
We have our chance for revenge on Wednesday 9th April, we know Sidcup find the Spitfire a challenge, so let's show them how to play it.

The match against Sidcup which was due to be played tomorrow (30th) at Sidcup, has been postponed for the second time due the weather.  I think I speak for all the team when I say Yipee!!!
Hope fully when new dates are offered they will be in March or April.
